What personal data GIGAZ collects, why, and how long it is kept. · Effective 28 July 2026
Your email address — the only credential GIGAZ holds, because there is no password. Any name, photo, language and contact details you choose to add. If you use GIGAZ as a gig worker, we also process the identity verification, skills and payout details the marketplace needs to operate.
To sign you in by one-time code, to run bookings and payments, to meet legal, tax and anti-fraud obligations, and to answer you when you contact support. We do not sell personal data.
Under the Malaysian PDPA you may access or correct your data, withdraw consent, and delete your account at any time — from the app, or from the public deletion page linked below.
Account data lives while your account does. On deletion we remove your account and profile records; transaction records that Malaysian law requires us to keep are retained for the statutory period in a restricted form.
GIGAZ uses only strictly-necessary cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a CSRF token that protects your session from forgery. Both are deleted when your session ends. GIGAZ sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookie of any kind.
